Terms of Use and Sale

Effective July 31, 2026

1. Operator and agreement

These Terms govern use of ADHDguide.ca websites, emails, digital products, and related services.

ADHDguide.ca is a website and brand operated by Jose Alberto Salazar Cantu in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

By using the site or purchasing a product, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site or purchase the product.

2. Adults only

The founding website and products are intended for adults age 18 or older. By purchasing, you confirm that you are at least 18 and have legal capacity to enter the transaction.

3. Educational scope

ADHDguide.ca provides educational and reflective information. It does not provide diagnosis, psychological assessment, counselling, psychotherapy, medical advice, medication guidance, treatment, emergency services, or crisis support.

Use of the site or products does not create a psychologist-client, counsellor-client, therapist-client, doctor-patient, fiduciary, or other professional relationship. Do not delay or disregard qualified professional advice because of ADHDguide.ca content.

4. Emergency boundary

The site, email, and products are not monitored as emergency services. If you may harm yourself or someone else, cannot stay safe, feel disconnected from reality, or have a medical emergency, contact your local emergency service or crisis service now.

5. Product description

The Move Forward Starter Kit is a digital educational product for personal reflection and implementation. The founding edition includes eight separate fillable PDF resources, a 68-page complete PDF bundle, START_HERE instructions, and a ZIP download.

Technical requirements include an internet connection for initial access and software capable of opening ZIP and PDF files. Fillable-field behaviour may vary by device and PDF application. Printing is optional and is at the customer's expense.

6. Price, currency, taxes, and payment

The founding price is $17 USD, one time, with no subscription. Applicable taxes and the final total will be displayed before acceptance. Payment is processed through the provider shown at checkout. ADHDguide.ca does not normally receive full payment-card details. No shipping charge applies because the product is delivered digitally.

7. Delivery

Access is intended to be provided immediately after successful payment through the checkout confirmation, customer account, or purchase email. If access is not received, contact support@adhdguide.ca with the purchaser's name, purchase email, and order number if available.

8. 14-Day Simple Refund Promise

If the Move Forward Starter Kit is not a useful fit, email support@adhdguide.ca within 14 calendar days of purchase and request a refund.

Include the purchaser's name, purchase email, and order number if available. No worksheet, personal mental-health information, or explanation is required.

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Processing time after approval may depend on the payment provider.

We may refuse requests involving clear fraud, repeated abuse, or duplicate refunds for the same product. This voluntary policy does not limit any mandatory cancellation, refund, or other consumer right.

9. Personal-use licence

Your purchase grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use the materials for your own personal, non-commercial use.

You may print copies for your own use. You may not share the download, post it publicly, resell it, sublicense it, remove ownership notices, create a competing product from it, or use it to train an AI model or dataset without written permission.

Professionals may not distribute the materials to clients, groups, students, or organizations under a personal licence. Contact admin@adhdguide.ca about future professional-use licensing.

10. Intellectual property

The site, frameworks, product structure, copy, graphics, examples, worksheets, and downloads are owned by or licensed to ADHDguide.ca and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

ADHDguide.ca, “Understand Yourself. Move Forward.”, and product names may be used only as permitted by law or written authorization.

11. User conduct

  • Do not interfere with site security or operation or attempt unauthorized access.
  • Do not use the site for unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or infringing activity.
  • Do not scrape or systematically copy content, distribute malware, impersonate another person, or misuse another customer's account or purchase.

12. Examples and results

Jordan, Maya, and other named examples are fictional composites created for education. They are not real clients, testimonials, diagnostic profiles, or promises of outcome.

Individual experiences differ. ADHDguide.ca does not guarantee a diagnosis, symptom change, clinical result, productivity level, financial result, relationship result, or completion outcome.

13. Third-party services and links

The site may rely on or link to third-party services. Their availability, content, terms, and privacy practices are controlled by those third parties. A link does not necessarily imply endorsement.

14. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site and products are provided “as is” and “as available.” ADHDguide.ca does not warrant that every item will be error-free, uninterrupted, compatible with every device, or suitable for every person's circumstances.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty, condition, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ADHDguide.ca and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive losses arising from use of or inability to use the site or products.

For claims that may lawfully be limited, total liability will not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the product giving rise to the claim. These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law and do not limit mandatory consumer rights.

16. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address fraud, security risk, unlawful conduct, material breach, payment reversal, or harm to the service or others. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and a reasonable explanation.

17. Changes

We may update the site, products, or these Terms. Changes do not retroactively remove rights already required by law or an accepted refund promise for an existing purchase. The date above shows the current version.

18. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without excluding mandatory consumer protections that apply in a customer's jurisdiction.

Subject to those mandatory rights, disputes will be brought in the courts of British Columbia.

19. Severability and no waiver

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. Failure to enforce a provision once is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.
